FRIZZ FIGHTERS
August is “anti-frizz month” so beat the fuzz with these handy tips…
FEEL THE CHILL
Cooling down your water, tool and air temperatures can really make a difference to your strands. Celebrity hair stylist and owner of RAW Salon in Sydney, Anthony Nader, recommends “rinsing strands in the coldest temperature you can handle for 20 to 30 seconds before you step out of the shower. This will help close the hair cuticles making your strands shiny and less fluffy”. Secondly, it’s important to keep your hot tools on low settings and add a cool shot at the end of blow drying to set your style and add shine.
STREAMLINE YOUR SLEEP
The way you snooze can have a big impact on your hair and how it looks when you wake up. Invest in a silk pillowcase to prevent frizz and tangling, plus it’s also great for your skin. Another way to save your strands is to plait or loosely tie it with a soft scrunchie before bed to prevent breakage while you toss and turn.
