We’re all trying to do our bit for our planet, so our future generations can live in a safer and much greener world.

@sustainablesalonsanz have established a network of collectors, recyclers, manufacturers and distributors to make sure up to 95% (AGAIN THAT’S 95%) of materials from salons are diverted from landfill.

How incredibly fantastic that we are apart of this sustainable movement in Australia 💯

♻️ Our salon plastics are collected, cleaned and upcycled into new products.

♻️ All salon metals (including foil) and paper are sold for recycling and the proceeds are donated to #OzHarvest and #KiwiHarvest to provide meals for hungry people.

♻️ Hair is collected from the salon floor and stuffed into stockings to make #HairBooms that can one day help clean up oil spills along our coastlines….this is genius!!!

♻️ All collected ponytails 20cm or longer are distributed to charitable organisations to create wigs for those suffering from cancer or alopecia.

♻️ Chemicals are collected, pooled and sent to chemical recycling plants where they’re neutralised and turned into recycled water.

♻️ Select disposable hygiene products used during treatments are pulled apart and the materials are sent for repurposing.

When you come visit us next and your relaxing in the chair, take a second and think about not only your fab new hair of course, but that complimentary raw water bottle your sipping from, to the foil we use when colouring hair and even the excess colour left over from the bowls…will also be recycled and sent to the correct recycling plants 🔑

Its small little steps like these that keep Anthony, David and the RAW team moving positively forward for our future 💯
